The Morbark Wood Hog Horizontal Chipper arrived at Beacon Farms on the 4th of Dec 2020. 

 

It took some work to bring this massive piece of equipment down the drive, but we are so pleased to finally have it on site.  The Wood Hog will greatly increase the production capability of the farm's Composting Facility and allow us to accept all kinds of green waste.

The machine will be able to handle large tree branches as well as troublesome items like palm fronds that tend to get tangled in the blades of other chippers.

The Morbark Wood Hog also comes with screens so that we can grade the chipped material as it is produced.
