Unfortunately the importation of coconut seedlings and seeds into the Cayman Islands is restricted due to a serious disease of coconut palms (Lethal Yellowing) that can be spread by the movement of infected plants. Therefore, we are planning to use part of our 34 acre farm to cultivate a large grove of nearly 1,000 coconut trees.

 

We are looking for local contributors who can provide mature coconut seeds. If you have coconut trees, especially dwarf coconut trees, and are willing to assist the Farm in this matter please email info@beaconfarmscayman.org
