Through the continued support of our benefactor, Mr. Granger Haugh, Beacon Farms now has a brand new Valentini Tiller!

The tiller can be used in the field to grind bedrock, creating a level area for the cultivation of our crops.  Grinding the bedrock also benefits the farm by creating rock dust that can be added to our compost to make soil; as well as increasing the root zone for deep rooted plants.

The tiller, nick-named Atilla, will be pulled by our recently acquired John Deere Tractor, which arrived just prior to the Valentini tiller. 

 

These two machines, will be revolutionary to how Beacon Farms manages it's fields in the future!
