 TOBACCO HARVEST

In February of 2019, we harvested our Cuban Criollo '98 crop:

The tobacco plants were cut at the base and a hole drilled through the thick stems.  Multiple plants were then strung on a rod.

They were then placed in our temporary drying house, which was quickly built for this purpose.

Once hung up in the barn, the tobacco was closely monitored to ensure they were drying in the correct humidity and temperature.
