Beacon Farms has quite a few established fruit trees that were already growing here when the property was purchased.  These include mango, avocado, sour sop, sweet sop, star apple, jackfruit, breadfruit, ackee, guava, bilimbi and java plum.

Eventually, we hope to develop an area of the farm that will be planted out with about 148 trees.  These will include more of the best selling local fruits such as mango and avocado as well as some exotic fruits such as the bilimbi and java plum!

With a regimented, orderly layout; the maintenance of the trees and the harvesting of the fruit will be a much simpler process.

When we are ready to go forward with this project, we will be cultivating our fruit trees by grafting, air-layering, and seeds.
